KeepDataSafe started as a personal project — a tool I built for myself to make my daily work as an IT technician easier. Every day I was dealing with the same repetitive tasks: copying files between machines, making sure client backups were done correctly, syncing folders across different locations. These tasks were essential but time-consuming, and I needed something that could handle them reliably and automatically.

What I found online was either too expensive, too complex, or simply didn't do exactly what I needed. The tools that came close required a significant investment that was hard to justify — while the free alternatives were clunky and unreliable. So I decided to build my own.

The result exceeded my own expectations. DataSafeTools now saves me hours every week — tasks that used to require manual attention now run automatically in the background. When I realized how much of a difference it made, I thought: why not share it with everyone who's been searching for the same solution? There's real work and real investment behind these tools — including the costs of keeping this service running: domain, hosting, subscriptions and ongoing maintenance. I can't give them away for free, but I've kept the price symbolic — because my goal was never to get rich. It was to build something genuinely useful and make it accessible to the people who need it most.
